Exterior walls of a home can be insulated with the drill and fill process from either inside or out. In this project, the best option was to drill through the exterior siding. 2-2.5" holes are drilled into each cavities within the area to be insulated. This way every single cavity may be fully packed with the blow in insulation.
Once the holes are drilled into each cavity, the cellulose loose fill insulation may be blown into each one with a hose. Our expert installers snake the hose slowly throughout the cavity to ensure it is fully insulated.
Once insulated, the hole is filled with a woodplug to fully plug and seal it.
